First Baptist cares about people, not just spiritually but physically as well. Helping Hands started out as a way to care for people and became a method for opening up opportunities to share the Gospel also. The last Thursday of each month, the church distributes food to over one hundred families. The food comes from purchases made through the Oklahoma Food Bank and from donations from local businesses. Along with food, clothing is available on the same day.
Volunteers set up and run the Helping Hands outreach. If you would like to serve in this ministry, contact Jimmy Binns.
