Dear Church Family,

We are living in strange and unprecedented times.  We are continuing to seek God's wisdom daily so we might make the best decisions during the days that are ahead.  I'm sure you are aware of the concern related to COVID-19 (coronavirus).  We have already seen the shutdown of schools, community events, and many other activities on the national and state levels.  The CDC recommended we stop gatherings of 50 or more people; in addition to that, President Trump announced that gatherings of more than 10 people should not happen at this time.  In light of these current issues, I am announcing the following:

  • For the next two Sundays, March 22 & 29, our worship gatherings have been suspended.  This includes all Sunday morning and evening activities.

  • Sunday morning services will be broadcast on Facebook:  FBC Heavener, Facebook Live at 11 a.m.

  • Recordings of the Sunday morning services will also be put on our website, fbcheavener.org.

  • For Wednesdays, March 25 & April 1, all activities have been suspended.

  • A daily encouragement and update will be on Facebook, FBC Heavener.

  • Food Distribution will take place as scheduled Thursday, March 26.  However, it will be more of a drive--thru type distribution.  No meal will be served.

  • Monday-Friday, take-out meals are available at the Hope Center at 11:30 a.m.

  • Financial giving:

  1. Give online at fbcheavener.org (select the Giving tab)

  2. Bring your financial gift to the church office

  3. Mail to:  FBC, PO Box 845, Heavener, OK  74937

Your faithful and generous giving is appreciated.

  • Who's Your One?  Continue to pray for your one.  30-Day Prayer Guides are available in the church office.

  • Office hours will stay the same:  8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday | 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Friday.

  • You are encouraged to contact our ministers and staff by phone, text, or email until we resume normal activity.

  • At the end of these dates, we will reevaluate the situation and make a decision on services and activities beyond these dates.

I want to encourage you to press into the Lord during this season.  Please continue to pray and seek the Lord.  Look for opportunities to help people and shine the light of Jesus.  We have a unique opportunity to be the Church.  May we continue leading people to faith in Christ no matter what; the gospel must continue to go forth.

May the Lord be with us as we move forward,

Pastor Brock Hardin
