Brock became the pastor of FBC in June 2017. When Brock was 18 years old the Holy Spirit got a hold of his heart and changed him forever. He repented of his sins and by faith trusted in Jesus for salvation. Within two weeks he surrendered to the ministry. In 2006 he joined the FBC staff and stayed until 2009. He came back as student pastor in 2011. He married the love of his life and high school sweetheart Brenn in the summer of 2008. They have three children, Noah, Khloe, and Phoebe. Brock is a dynamic individual whose passion is to see people come to know Christ and to disciple them. Brock's vision is to see Heavener First Baptist become a church built on discipleship. It is his heart's desire to lead the church in living out the Great Commission. Brock's great leadership abilities and a consuming burden for the nations, he plans to make the Gospel known to the entire world.
Makenzie was raised in Heavener and graduated from Heavener High School in 2018. She was saved on August 14, 2013, and God called her to serve in the ministry in 2016. She has always had a heart for working with children. Makenzie understands the importance of building a firm biblical foundation in the lives of children and desires to help kids understand the love God has for them. She graduated from Carl Albert in 2019 with an associates degree and will graduate with a bachelors from NSU in May 2021. She plans to pursue a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology. She has been blessed with wonderful family and friends.
Corry was born and raised in Heavener. He was saved on August 21, 2012 and surrendered to the ministry in February 2015. He is a 2016 graduate of Heavener High School and earned an Associates Degree in General Studies from Carl Albert State College in 2018. In 2019 Corry finished his Bachelor's Degree from NSU with a major in Organizational Leadership. Corry is married to Brianna who is his best friend in the whole world and ministry partner. They have one child, Joshua Brooks Duncan. Corry enjoys spending time in God's Word, reading, spending time with his family, discipling students, and watching OU football.
Dalton has been our Kid's Pastor since April, 2019. He was saved March of 2016 and accepted God's call on his life to pastoral ministry in 2017. He has lived in Heavener all his life and graduated from Heavener High School in 2018. After high school, he attended Carl Albert State College and earned an associates degree in General Studies. Dalton loves ministering and desires for kids and families to be saved and to grow in their relationship with Christ. Dalton is married to the love of his life, Makenzie. Dalton enjoys ministering, studying God's word, drinking coffee, playing the drums, and spending time with loved ones.
