Women's Ministry

The goal of the women's ministry is to:

• Reach the women of Heavener with the good news of Jesus Christ

• Provide opportunities to study the Bible and develop a meaningful prayer life

• Serve others by using our gifts and abilities for His glory

To meet this goal, the Women's Ministry conducts Bible studies for women at various times during the year and also weekly through Sunday Connection Groups.  On Monday of most weeks, a quilting group meets for fellowship and to sew various projects for family and other church members. A ladies' Christmas themed dinner has become an annual event in December at FBC which offers an opportunity for outreach as well as fellowship.
